Treasure Homes are proud to be one of the sponsors of Westpac Helicopter Rescue. Along with our successful projects, we promote ourselves by supporting our local community.

2020 is the 50th year that Auckland Rescue Helicopter offers service throughout the Greater Auckland, Hauraki Gulf, and Coromandel communities.

Taking over 20,000 missions to date, ARHT is recognised for its pioneering work in saving lives. It is the only rescue helicopter operator in New Zealand to offer Pre-Hospital and Retrieval Medicine Doctors onboard 24/7, providing life-saving medical care usually reserved for the emergency room from the moment the chopper touches down.

This service can be dated back to 1970 when the first launch of the Rescue Helicopter Service. At that time, the operating rescue mission with the provision of the Hiller 12E helicopter. Today, the service utilises two state-of-the-art Leonardo AW-169 helicopters, one BK-117 helicopter, and one Rapid Response vehicle to assist with local medical missions close by to our home at Ardmore Airbase.
